If you died today are you sure you would go to heaven?
The most important decision of your life isn't a choice of your mate, nor whether you should buy that dream house. The most important decision does not concern this life, but where you will spend eternity. (The life hereafter) That decision for eternity involves Jesus Christ.
Here's how to accept Jesus free gift of salvation: 1. Recognize that you're a sinner. Romans 3:10 "...there are none righteous no not one." Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." 2. Realize that your sin will send you to hell. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 5:12 "...death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." 3. Repent or turn away from your sin and turn to Jesus Christ. Romans 5:8 "But God commanded his love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners; Christ died for us." Romans 6:23 "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." 4. Receive him into your heart and life now. John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." II Corinthians 6:2 "...Behold, now is the accepted time; now is the day of salvation." Pray this simple prayer. "Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I know Jesus died for me. Right now I invite Jesus into my life. Forgive me of my sins. Give me a home in heaven when I die. In Jesus name, amen." |
